fficers searched the property in the city’s Garthamlock area at about 1020 BST on Sunday. The men aged 36 44 and 47 were detained and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday. The search was part of an operation being conducted by the Scottish Crime and Drugs Enforcement Agency.

Emmett Reistroffer is outside the Minnehaha County Administration Building every day asking one question: Would you mind signing a petition real quick? It’s about legalizing marijuana in the state for people with cancer and other diseases. “They’re simply asking for protection from the state because right now our law wants to send them to prison and they’re not criminals. They’re just seeking relief” Reistroffer said. Reistroffer’s group the South Dakota Coalition for Compassion includes doctors some law enforcement and volunteers.

—A member of the San Francisco Youth Commission and officials at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom are giving differing versions of a scuffle with security guards at the park over the weekend. Nineteen-year-old Corey Carlson claims he suffered a concussion and broken bones in his face after being beaten by guards while celebrating the July Fourth holiday at the park. Carlson was kicked out of the park Saturday evening after he says he was wrongly accused of smoking marijuana in the park. A park spokesman says Carlson was being escorted out of the park by security guards when he yelled obscenities and punched a guard.
