As police explain it Allegra Fromby had just pulled up to the store to pickup her husband when gunfire rang out and the assailants fled. She was unhurt but as police were performing a crime scene investigation several ounces of marijuana packaged for sale were allegedly found in her car. Fromby was a vice principal at Del Rosa Elementary School.

20 2008 12:00 AM The Arizona Republic A Mesa man faces drug and weapons charges after a two-month police investigation resulted in the “largest indoor hydroponic marijuana growing operation” state Department of Public Safety detectives have ever seen. When investigators searched David White’s two-story townhome in the 200 block of West 22nd Place on Thursday evening they said they discovered an extensive pot-growing operation spanning a bathroom and two bedrooms. “First thing that strikes you other than smell is the lighting” said DPS spokesman Bart Graves. “There’s this very soft lighting and (the room) has this humid slimy feeling to it. This guy definitely knew what he was doing.

Teddy Clark was also charged with maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.
