Police raided the house on Sunday morning and found several hundred plants in various stages of maturity. The electricity supply had been tampered with and had to be made safe before the house could be cleared. Nobody was at the house and police say they will be returning today to finish searching for evidence and clearing the house. A spokesman for the SCT said: “Drugs are a cause of enormous concern to people in every community and we need people to continue to pass information about any suspicions they have about drug dealing or use.

San Diego and San Bernardino County officials argued the measure conflicted with federal law outlawing the drug’s use. But the 4th District Court of Appeal disagreed in a July 31 decision, saying the federal law was intended to “combat recreational drug use, not to regulate a state’s medical practices. ” Judges also concluded that the counties did not have standing to challenge the entire state law. The counties are considering an appeal to the state Supreme Court.
