The first raid happened on Thursday evening when three men were arrested in Caribou Way, Cherry Hinton. Later officers raided a property in Balland Field, Willingham, and seized 145 cannabis plants. Det Ch Insp Dan Vajzovic said: “This raid is part of our ongoing work to tackle the production and supply of cannabis in the county. ”
He added: “We take these offences extremely seriously and will continue to dedicate a lot of time and resources to catch and convict those involved in this activity. ”
Three men aged 20, 21 and 23, all from London, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and are all currently in custody at Parkside Police Station.
