The trooper learned that Garcia’s license had been suspended for refusing to submit to a breath test in early August, the arrest report said. When he cut open one of the garbage bags, it contained several individually wrapped bags of marijuana. Garcia was arrested on the charges of possession of marijuana over 20 grams, marijuana possession with intent to sell, marijuana trafficking, driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DPS finds marijuana fields in Grand Prairie

DPS narcotics agents, working in coordination with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, said as many as 2,000 plants were being uprooted and destroyed in the three locations in a swampy area northwest of the Lone Star Park racetrack.
