The girl said she repeatedly told him she was not interested, but he forced her to accompany him to a bedroom, where he filled a pipe with marijuana, shoved it into her mouth and forced her to inhale after lighting the bowl. The girl said she eventually left the room and subsequently told her mother about the incident, ignoring her father’s order not to disclose the matter. Lourim went a little too far with his home-grown business. Lourim used a bedroom closet to grow a significant amount of marijuana plants at his home in the Sandown Creek subdivision, said Peachtree City Police Chief James Murray. “It appeared to be for more than just recreational use,” Murray said of the crop, which was confiscated by police Tuesday. Officers serving a search warrant found that the marijuana was being grown in a closet of the master bedroom, complete with a watering system and special lamps designed to help the plant grow without sunlight. Also found in the home were several books and DVDs showing how to cultivate marijuana, police said. Lourim was charged with one felony count of manufacturing marijuana, and will face additional undetermined charges, Murray said… Lourim used a bedroom closet to grow a significant amount of marijuana plants at his home in the Sandown Creek subdivision, said Peachtree City Police Chief James Murray. “It appeared to be for more than just recreational use,” Murray said of the crop, which was confiscated by police Tuesday. In addition to the marijuana, Lourim was growing mushrooms in glass jars that were packed into boxes, and a log book detailing how they were produced was also recovered, police said.
